Clinical Supervision for LPC-Associates
Service Description
LPC clinical supervision is a structured, professional relationship in which a licensed LPC Supervisor provides oversight, guidance, and support to LPC Associates working toward full licensure. Supervision focuses on the development of clinical skills, ethical decision-making, case conceptualization, and professional identity. Supervision sessions are conducted regularly and include discussion of client cases, review of counseling techniques, and exploration of challenges within the therapeutic relationship. The supervisor ensures that the supervisee adheres to legal and ethical standards set by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors (TSBEPC). The goal of clinical supervision is to ensure competent, ethical practice and to prepare the associate for independent clinical work. This process enhances the quality of care provided to clients while fostering the professional growth and accountability of the supervisee.
Cancellation Policy
Per Texas state requirements, LPC Associates must meet with LPC Supervisor a minimum of 4 hours per month. LPC Supervisor charges $100 an hour for clinical supervision sessions, which will be due before each scheduled session. *You will NOT be charged for the first Supervision Consultation (15 minute appointment).
